Nordpeis ME Oak w/side glass - LIMITED EDITION

Me Oak is a unique wood-burning stove, both in its design and because it is produced in just 300 copies. The round firebox rests on a base clad in oak. A number plaque is mounted at the bottom of the base which marks the number in the exclusive "Limited Edition" series. The combustion chamber is available both with and without side glass. The side glass makes the flame visible from several angles. Me Oak is delivered in untreated oak, which gives you the option of treating it with either neutral or pigmented oil.

• Air flushing for cleaner glass - Clean air is admitted via a channel at the top of the glass, which flushes like a curtain down the glass in the hot combustion chamber. The clean air prevents the smoke gases from coming into contact with the glass and sooting it. The air purge also helps to control the intensity of the fire.

• Fresh air supply - This product is equipped with a connector where the fitter can connect external air. In modern tight houses, external air is needed to make the fireplace burn optimally.

* In tight, well-insulated homes, an insufficient supply of air from outside can cause negative pressure in the room where the fireplace is located. This can lead to poor combustion, poorer utilization of the wood and sooting of the pipe.

For dense homes, we therefore recommend a fireplace with the possibility of an external supply of fresh air. Fresh air ducts should be designed and prepared already during the construction of the building.

When installing in an existing building, a mounting kit for a road penetration can be purchased as an additional accessory for the fresh air connection.
